Do you want to be a watershed warrior? Join us on Wednesday, November 9th!
CSNC and volunteers will be returning to the Camp Creek watershed in the Eldorado National Forest to decomission an unauthorized OHV route. We will be placing water bars, decompacting soil, and covering tracks with on-site mulch and leaf litter. We will also be placing woody debris to push water off of the route to protect the soil and prevent sediment runoff to Camp Creek.
If you can make it, meet at the Placerville Raley’s near the Shell station at 9am. We will be returning by 5pm.
It is likely to be a little chilly in the morning this time of year so please bring a jacket or layer up! Bring a lunch, a water bottle, sturdy shoes or boots, gloves, sun protection, a jacket and anything you might want for a day in the forest. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Jessy at (530) 206-7061. We hope to see you Wednesday!
