Notice of Restoration Grant Application – March 7, 2016
The Center for Sierra Nevada Conservation (CSNC) has developed a preliminary application for California State Parks Off Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division Restoration Grant for the 2015/2016 grant cycle. The grant will support CSNC’s work identifying and restoring user-created vehicle routes; restoration and protection of Lava Caps and associated sensitive plant species and monitoring restored areas. We are seeking the public’s comments on the preliminary application.
The preliminary grant applications will be posted on the OHMVR website on March 8, 2015. To review the grant applications submitted, click on this link or paste it into your browser: http://www.ohv.parks.ca.gov
At the Division website, click on the “Apply for Grants” tab in the right column, and then click on the On-Line Grant Application (OLGA) site present at the top of the page. Once at the OLGA site, the menu on the left contains Public Review Instructions and Reviewing Preliminary Applications information. This is where you will be able to review the CSNC grant application.
The 30-day public review and comment period for the 2015/2016 Grants and Cooperative Agreement Program begins March 8, 2016, and ends April 4, 2016. This period provides an opportunity for the public to review the preliminary applications submitted to the OHMVR Division for consideration during the current grant cycle. The public may provide comments to both the applicant and the OHMVR Division by emailing email@example.com and copying the OHVMR Division at OHVinfo@parks.ca.gov.
