We had a great turnout of Watershed Warriors at Camp Creek on Wednesday, November 9th! With the help of these amazing volunteers we were able to decommission an unauthorized OHV route and campsite.
The CSNC crew and volunteers placed large woody debris exclusions to prevent traffic, as well as water bars to redirect water off the trail and minimize erosion and sediment loss. We used duff and debris found at the site to disguise the route and campsite.

We picked up bullets and other rubbish at the campsite, cleared away two existing fire pits, and covered the bare ground. This was a great day of hard work helping to improve a watershed of the Eldorado National Forest!

Volunteers hard at work!
