The Center for Sierra Nevada Conservation hosted a SNAP restoration work day near the Pi-Pi Campground in Somerset, CA this past Monday, June 20th. We restored 2 sites, just over a quarter of a mile of illegal OHV roads, including one site that was shedding soil directly into the Middle Fork of the Cosumnes River. We ended the day with a BBQ and enjoying the river that we just protected! Thank you to Bree Lewis, Hannah Drummond, Emily Frey, Alec Arditti, Timmy Jacobs, Sarah Angulo and Evan Portier for joining us!
