The Center for Sierra Nevada Conservation (CSNC) is developing an application for Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Cooperative Funds for the upcoming 2015/2016-grant cycle. We are developing a preliminary application to the Off Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division for a restoration grant for identifying and restoring user “pioneered” routes, restoration and protection of Lava Caps and associated sensitive plant species and monitoring restored areas. We are seeking the public’s input for this grant as it is developed, and comments on the preliminary application.

The preliminary grant applications will be posted on the OHMVR website on March 8, 2015. To review the grant applications submitted, click on this link or paste it into your browser: http://www.ohv.parks.ca.gov or you can find a link on the CSNC website at http://www.sierranevadaconservation.org.

The 30-day public review and comment period for the 2015/2016 Grants and Cooperative Agreement Program begins March 8, 2016, and ends April 4, 2016. This period provides an opportunity for the public to review the preliminary applications submitted to the OHMVR Division for consideration during the current grant cycle. The public may provide comments to both the applicant and the OHMVR Division by emailing karen@sierranevadaconservation.org and copying the OHVMR Division at OHVinfo@parks.ca.gov. You may also send written comments, suggestions, or letters of support for the applicant to: CSNC, P.O. Box 603, Georgetown, CA 95634, Attention: Grant comments.
