The CSNC team will be heading out to Traverse Creek on Tuesday, April 25th (not 24th, sorry about the typo on the last post!).  This is going to be a complicated site, so we will need all the help we can get! We will be shutting down an illegal OHV route that runs through a sensitive riparian zone. It is critical that we get this done as soon as possible!

If you are driving from South or West of Placerville, we will meet in the Placerville Raley’s parking lot at 9 a.m. Those leaving from the Georgetown area will be meeting at the Georgetown Library at 9:30 a.m. We will be back to the Placerville Raley’s and the Georgetown Library before 5 p.m..

Bring a lunch, a water bottle, sturdy shoes or boots, gloves, sun protection, and a jacket. Please RSVP to jessy@sierranevadaconservation.org or call Jessy at 530.206.7061, even if you aren’t positive you can make it.

Come on out and enjoy the wildflowers and the creek while getting some important and fun work done!
